Introduction

About MR3

MR3 is a patient‑centric digital health platform designed to help users view, manage, store, and share their health records aggregated from multiple healthcare providers, uploads, and third‑party integrations. MR3 also provides access to value‑added services such as health financing (including crowdfunding, grants, and loans) and related support services.

MR3 does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision‑making services.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an MR3 account.
• Parents or legal guardians may create and manage accounts for dependents under the age of 18, subject to these Terms.
• You represent that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date.

Account Registration and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including your password and any two-factor authentication (2FA) information such as security questions and answers associated with your account.
• You agree not to share your account details, login credentials, or 2FA verification information with any third party.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and for ensuring that your security questions and answers remain accurate and confidential.
• If you suspect any unauthorized access to your account, you must notify MR3 immediately.
• MR3 reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, compromise platform security, or pose security risks.

Health Information and Records

• You retain ownership of all health information and records you upload to or generate on the MR3 platform.
• By using the Platform, you grant MR3 a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the services offered on the Platform.
• MR3 will retain and process personal and health information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected, including providing the services and complying with applicable legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you upload.
• MR3 does not independently verify the medical accuracy of user-submitted records unless explicitly stated.
• All processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.

Sharing of Records

• You control who has access to your health records, the scope of access, and the duration.
• Shared access may be revoked or modified by you at any time.
• MR3 is not responsible for misuse of records by third parties who were granted access by you.

Dependents, Relationships, and Proxies

• You may add dependents and establish relationships in accordance with MR3 guidelines.
• Healthcare proxy appointments are subject to platform limitations and verification.
• You acknowledge that granting proxy or carer access allows such persons to view or input health information on your behalf.

Health Financing and Crowdfunding Services

MR3 may facilitate access to:

• Crowdfunding campaigns
• Health grants
• Health loans

Important terms:

• MR3 acts as a facilitator, not a lender, donor, or guarantor.
• All applications are subject to review, approval, and verification.
• Funds raised through crowdfunding are disbursed strictly for approved medical purposes.
• MR3 does not guarantee funding success, grant approval, or loan approval.

Payments and Subscriptions

• Certain features may require payment or subscription.
• Fees, billing cycles, and payment methods will be disclosed before purchase.
• Payments made are non‑refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
• Interfere with system security or performance
• Use MR3 for purposes other than intended

Privacy

Your use of MR3 is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal and health data. By using MR3, you consent to such processing.

Medical Disclaimer

MR3 is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of qualified healthcare professionals regarding medical conditions.

Suspension and Termination

MR3 may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at its sole discretion, including but not limited to the following circumstances:

• Violations of these Terms
• Security concerns or suspected unauthorized use of the Platform
• Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, or lawful requests from regulatory or government authorities

You may terminate your account at any time by requesting account deletion through the Platform or contacting MR3 support.

Following termination, MR3 may retain certain information where required to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or fulfill regulatory record-keeping obligations, including obligations under applicable data protection laws such as the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Intellectual Property

All MR3 content, software, trademarks, and logos are owned by or licensed to MR3. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• MR3 shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• MR3 is not liable for medical decisions made based on information accessed through the Platform.
• MR3 is not responsible for third‑party services or integrations.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold MR3 harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

MR3 may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
